Dizzee the Rascal

In January I picked up “Dizzee”, an 8 month old Boxer/Pit mix. He’s the first dog I’ve owned and if he’s any indication of the joy and satisfaction one can feel when raising such a magnificent animal then I know I’ll be owning many more in the future.

WMC 2010

Having already spent 4 weeks in the Caribbean DJing on the NCL Pearl, I decided to stay in Miami an extra 6 days for WMC, the biggest annual DJ conference in the world. My partners @DJcity were coming out to film a webisode of the MikiDz Show so I crashed with them. Over the next 3 days we shot amazing footage that included exclusive interviews, live performances, and backstage access with such artists as Pharrell, LMFAO, Lil Jon, Steve Aoki, Travis Barker and DJ A-Trak. On our last day in Miami we paid a visit to our friends at the Scratch Academy. They were holding their annual WMC Scratch Summit which included DJs from all over the country getting down on open tables. Guest DJs included Immortal, Rob Riggs, SPS, Dynamix, Earwaxxx, and my fellow SpinAddicts Dash. MikiWar & DainjaZone. Here’s some pics and amateur footage taken at the event.

I just returned from DJing 4 week aboard the NCL “Pearl” for the month of March! It was a great experience DJing for different crowds that included crazy spring breakers. Pics will be posted soon as well as links to a few mixes I recorded while on board!
